ABOUT THE AUTHOR

David was born in Cornwall but has lived most of his life in London and The Cotswolds. He took up trumpet in his early teens before changing to tenor sax. Upon the death of his sister he left school and with his brother opened a record shop in Soho. He also started work at The 100 Club in Oxford Street eventually becoming manager. He left the music scene for some years before forming his own band Seventh Avenue Xpress - SAX for short – operating out of Cheltenham. He ran the band until 2006. He then concentrated on writing. David and his wife Lynne have three children and live in Buckinghamshire.
